I have been a virtual translator via Upwork (freelancing platform). Since I’m originally from Japan, I started offering beginner to intermediate level translation last year. I like that each and every project is so unique and it really stimulates my brain and challenge myself to deliver high quality translation services. For the next 2 years I had 3 consecutive failures and was pretty humbled by that. It was a good lesson in humility for sure. I learned a lot from the failures, maybe even more than from the successes. The point I want to make is not to expect everything to work, but that's OK, as long as you keep getting back on the horse. And maybe more importantly is that when you are riding your success be sure to plan for the possibility it could fail by not risking all your money on the venture. If it does fail you'll want to have some funds to start the next venture.

I really disagree with this comment. Im sure you can find success in one niche if it has infinite scale and traffic sources. If you are good enough at driving targeted traffic you can be in multiple niches/products/markets with almost the same amount of effort. I have done millions in over 6 niches.. if I stayed in one I feel like I wouldn't even be close to the net worth I am now. I would focus on one working niche until you have enough stability to test 10 others. The internet landscape is always changing and most things that work are getting saturated like crazy. Stay nimble and adjust.
