Create videos. According to Cisco, video accounted for 64 percent of consumer internet traffic in 2014, and it is expected to grow to 80 percent by 2019.[4] Video is so popular because it's engaging and allows people to get information and entertainment that’s easy to digest. With so much information available at their fingertips, most people want to get their content quickly and move on. Produce creative videos that educate your customers about your products. Keep the videos relevant to your audience. Also, promote your videos across several social media channels.[5]
If you live near a university, there are likely all sorts of research studies looking for participants. While I was an undergrad at Virginia Tech, I got paid $500 to participate in a 6-week dietary study. The study provided all my meals and paid me, but I had to eat a 5,000 calorie diet of 50% fat for 6 weeks, plus I had multiple muscle biopsies, urine/blood testing, etc.
It’s great, but sometimes is not just the content of your blog it’s about to look for ways to promote it. I work for a fitness blog for girls in Latin America. During the final quarter of last year, visits decreased even though we created very original, interesting content. Our revenue decreased in addition to website traffic problems. We had to think about new strategies for our content; otherwise, we would have to close the page. We considered paying for ads, mentions, or a celebrity endorsement. But, we realized that these solutions would only temporarily fix a much bigger problem. My company does not have professional experience in digital marketing, so we approach a company that has experience reaching the right people. They designed the strategy according to the needs of our Latin American audience, targeting each country where they are working. Their services were for international SEO. The SEO we did with them has worked and our blog is gaining traffic. The Multilingual SEO Agency I hired is called Dalai Group (http://dalaigroup.com/global-seo-a/). They were serious about our project and I feel comfortable recommending them.
Find your niche partners, collaborators, and champions: As you’re creating your course, look for notable people who are also creating content in the space. Look att how their businesses operate and incorporate that into your own plan. You can also reach out to any influencers and make them affiliates for your own course. This way, they’ll be incentivized to share your content with their own audiences (which can be a major way to generate your first sales—it helps if you're using one of the best CRMs for small business—and start building your own community!)

If you love to travel and find yourself randomly searching for airfare sales or browsing Lonely Planet, why not carve out a niche for yourself as a private travel agent? My friend, Mark Jackson did just that, making extra money online with his travel consulting side business. Start with word of mouth recommendations from friends who know they can count on you for the cheapest flights, and then move on and create a Facebook or LinkedIn group to invite people who want to stay on top of the latest deals. Eventually you could spin this into a full-time consultancy teaching people how to make their dream trip a reality.
As I stated earlier, I have this affiliate internet marketing e-course. I very highly recommend you sign up for it. It won’t make you an expert, but it will help get you off to the right start, including step by step video instructions for finding the best niche and even how to create your own website. In less than one week, you can be off and running.

YouTube gets more than one billion unique users a month: that’s a huge audience.[1] Many people are already making money there: YouTube boasts one million creators in its YouTube Partner Program alone. With every 1,000 views, you will be able to get an approximate return of $2-$4.This might not seem a lot, but if you consider making 100 videos with 5,000 views each, that would already be $1,000-$2,000. That would be a decent amount of money.

Just remember, earning a full-time living online really IS possible. Affiliate internet marketing programs are everyone and affiliate marketing is a multi-billion dollar per year industry. People are making money at this right now, but for the vast majority of them, it didn’t come without some work and effort. Put in some work now and the reward is residual income for years to come. I don’t care what type of experience you have or if you’ve never built a single website before. You CAN do this.

Write a blog. If you have a business, consider starting a blog as part of your marketing plan. You can write how-to articles, product reviews, answers to questions and posts about upcoming events. Blogs give you more flexibility than other forms of social media like Facebook or Twitter because you own the content and aren’t bound by a third party’s rules or restrictions. Also, if your posts include keywords or phrases and link to internal and external content, you can improve the search optimization of your website. Blogs drive sales because you can include product information and links to product pages. [3]

I was honestly looking for a little more from the article. If I make a video with 1 million views, and you have a video with 1,000 views, its possible that you made more money than I did… but not very likely. If you looked at a large sample of data, you could definitely find, ON AVERAGE, the amount of money made per view. If there is a relationship between number of views and number of engagements (which there is), then there must exist a relationship between views and money made.

Craigslist: Craigslist is definitely the scrappiest of the major online resale options. The advantage of Craigslist is its enticing profit potential, thanks to the total lack of listing and selling fees for most items. The disadvantages are many, but include potential safety risks and higher chances of nonpayment. If you do choose Craigslist, keep your wits about you and use the buddy system.
You have likely heard of subscription boxes such as Birchbox and Julep. While almost anyone can start a subscription box service, they can be incredibly labor-intensive and the profit margin usually isn’t so great for those operating on a small scale. Did you know you could start a subscription for your knowledge that’s almost pure profit? With sites like SubHub, you can offer a monthly membership offering anything from meal plans to workout plans to crocheting patterns and beyond. The sky is the limit. You do need to provide new content on a consistent schedule to keep your customers happy. But if there is something your friends are always looking to you for new ideas, you may have an easy little side business on your hands.
I disagree, I believe that he (or she) meant that people that are 55 are generally involved with and enjoy very different things than a 25 year old would. Now I’m not trying to be ageist, but it is true, for example, and this is exaggerating a bit, would a 55 year old look up and watch a makeup tutorial on how to be a sexy cat on halloween, I don’t believe many would. Again, I don’t mean to be ageist, but that is just my opinion.
The whole point of this is while you guys are arguing people on youtube ARE making money, whether it be a lot or a little. This guy has figured out how to get the most ad clicks/watches without having to make some dumb video to get 1 million views. If the ad correlates to the video he’s going to get more ad clicks than someone who made a frozen parody that has an ad about car insurance.
Through blogging you give your opinion on any topic you choose. This way you gain followers who enjoy your content and will value what you have to say. The best part is that you can create a blog on anything you are passionate about. Once you create a blog you can monetize it by hosting ads, or offering free content in exchange for email subscribers that you can later sell to.
There are several ways to make money from your car such as taxiing people, renting your car, or advertising businesses. Run the numbers before using your car to make money, especially if you're driving more than usual because it might cost more than you earn to use your car as a money-maker. Factor in depreciation, wear and tear, and gas expenses when you decide if driving is a cost-effective way to make extra money.
My next self-funded business hit $160,000 in revenue in its first year alone. After that first taste of self-made success, I’ve gone on to sign consulting contracts worth tens of thousands of dollars with startups like LinkedIn and Google, launch profitable online courses, and build a following of hundreds of thousands for this blog and my podcast series.
We all know we should be investing money, but it isn’t always as easy as it sounds. This is especially the case for those with limited dispensable cash or inconsistent income. Acorns (get $5 to invest when you sign up through this link) is an app that will allow you to round up your everyday purchases and invest that spare change. While you may be unable to write a sizeable check for investing each month, you may not notice an extra $.25 tacked onto your morning Starbucks. Stockpile is another micro-investing platform I love. Content is what drives web traffic. Websites are always pumping out fresh, new content for their readers, and they are always looking for writers! If you aren’t quite ready to launch your own blog yet, this might be a good option to see if writing is for you. Since competition is high, we don’t recommend starting from scratch as a freelance writer. Want to see success faster? Learn from a veteran, six-figure freelance writer.
Need more ideas on how to make money online? Another strategy is using webinars to market your product, service, or course. I’ve done webinars to promote my financial planning practice and to drum up interest in my online course for financial advisors. With a webinar, you’re basically offering a lot of tips and advice for free — usually in a live format. At the end though, you pitch your paid product or service with the goal of securing a few deals.
