Know how much content to post. This advice goes both ways. On the one hand, you don’t want to shove unwanted content in someone’s face and turn them away from your platform. But if you don’t post enough, you could be missing out on potential opportunities. So find a good schedule that works for your business -- and for each platform you use -- and stick to it.
I'd say the most important lesson I learned was that 90% of the people out there teaching and selling IM info products or training haven't got a clue about what they are doing. In most cases they got lucky with some technique or strategy and so they think they are brilliant and the first thing they do is package it up as the new shinny object for all the other IM suckers top buy. They usually don't even have enough experience or insight to even understand the "real" reason why they had some success and so when they teach it they often leave out the parts that actually led to their success. This is why it is often so hard for anyone to repeat their success.
Choose your niche and check for demand: The golden course combination is when you can find an in-demand niche that aligns with your skills and unique experiences. A great way to do this is to use Google Trends and Google’s Keyword Planner to look for average monthly search volume for keywords related to your proposed course content. Are people actively looking for high-quality information about this subject? Of course, if you’re already creating content for a blog, coaching service, or a site like Medium, you can test demand this way for free just like Bryan did.
How much will you make? I think my best month with Google AdSense was almost $5,000 over the last ten years. That amazing month blew my mind since it was actually near the beginning of my blogging journey. When you go from making zero to $5,000 in a month, that will rock your world. For me, it also got me even more excited because I knew there were other ways to monetize.
