My advice is to model something that already works. DO NOT try and be creative in the beginning. You can get all fancy and creative once you're rich. Emulate before you innovate. A good direction would be look for strategies that are pretty stable and haven't changed much over the years. Because you don't want to invest all this time and resources into some magical hypey fly-by-night strategy.
For sure! I think that’s something Jeff and I have learned rather quickly is to definitely not put all your eggs in one basket. We had 1-2 affiliates that we promoted for the longest time that were by and large our main sources of income. We realized that if we lost even 1 of those affiliates we would be in for a huge world of hurt when it came to our monthly intake.

I really disagree with this comment. Im sure you can find success in one niche if it has infinite scale and traffic sources. If you are good enough at driving targeted traffic you can be in multiple niches/products/markets with almost the same amount of effort. I have done millions in over 6 niches.. if I stayed in one I feel like I wouldn't even be close to the net worth I am now. I would focus on one working niche until you have enough stability to test 10 others. The internet landscape is always changing and most things that work are getting saturated like crazy. Stay nimble and adjust.
